Obama Rewarded Biden's Lobbyist Son with $3.4 Million in Earmarks
Washington Post
This seems like a recurring pattern for the Messiah Obama. He returned favors to Tony Rezko for getting him a house in the Illinois State Senate, and now it looks like he has been doing the same in the US Senate. That's change for you. I guess the only change Barack speaks of is that he should be allowed to use lobbyists and earmarks but Republicans and even his Democratic colleagues cannot."Sen. Barack Obama sought more than $3.4 million in congressional earmarks for clients of the lobbyist son of his Democratic running mate, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, records show. Obama succeeded in getting $192,000 for one of the clients, St. Xavier University in suburban Chicago."
Washington Post
"Obama's campaign has taken a hard stance against the world of lobbying in the nation's capital. Obama said he limits his own efforts to get money for pet projects -- a process known as earmarking -- to those that benefit the public. He has posted his earmark requests on his presidential campaign Web site to encourage transparency."
As the Messiah, aka Barack America, stands on high from Hope and Change, Illinois, decrying lobbyists in Washington D.C., he has a running mate drenched in lobbyist money, Mr. Biden. Oh, and it turns out the One himself has put his hands in the cookie jar, too. I guess we shouldn't be surprised by liberal hypocrisy. It's always the same old game with them. They can make a lot of money and dish out political favors to crony interest groups, but no one else can. It really fits well with their political philosophy of socialism. They will sit in ivory towers while the rest of us wallow in our equally miserable poverty caused by their grand redistribution schemes. Barack is just another in this long line of hypocrits. There is no hope and change in '08, only more of the same.

Uh oh, here is another example of screaming at the other side while Obama has his own skeletons in the closet. He keeps repeating the fact that Sarah Palin supported the bridge to nowhere before she was against it, which is a fact that no one denies, but he always supported it. He's hitting her for earmarks while he granted $3.4 million in earmarks to the clients of Joe Biden's son, who is a lobbyist. Now, as Obama criticizes Palin, saying she's not for equal pay for equal work, it appears Obama has a problem. His ... -

Whenever you tell liberals that there is a media bias, they usually deny it and then turn to old faithful, "what about Fox News?" Well, if that's the only example you can come up with, then that sort of proves the point. Then there is part 2, "what about talk radio?" Of course, talk radio is dominated by conservative pundits, but do you ever wonder why? The majority of listeners are people listening at work, and it's hard to be a liberal when you see all of your hard earned tax dollars sifted away paycheck after ... -
